Graduation day!!
Sam took the day off from work. Anthony had to go to the school early in the morning to do a practice run of graduation, but he was home at 11:30. And we let Molly and Timothy play hooky from school.
Because we were all home, we decided it would be a fun idea to have the Grandparents over for lunch and Anthony's favorite chocolate cake from Costco, and to open up his graduation gift from us and other cards that had recently come in.
Why not celebrate before the main event!?
Anthony was more than ok with the idea!
We bought Anthony a lap top for college, and he got cards and cash from the grandparents. Other graduation cards have been steadily rolling in over the past few weeks, and he's amounted a nice little sum for college so far. I'm thankful for that.
We also got him a scratch off. Which was a loser, haha, but that's ok.
Then it was time for cake!
When all was said and done, we had just enough time to relax for a bit, then get cleaned up and all ready to go.
