I'm not the biggest fan of winter. Really, the only thing I like about it is Christmas, watching my kiddos play in the snow.....and now chilling with my horses.
It was super cold out and my fingers and toes were freezing, but I really enjoy just sitting with the horses out in the pasture. No snow is going to stop that. In fact, I took advantage of the prettiness of the snow to get some photos of Maizy and Ellie lounging with me. Towards the end, even Sam came out to hang!

You know you live in Goldendale when winter passes you over in November, December, and January, but finally decides to make its appearance in February. Just when you think winter has decided to skip you and you're in the home stretch to Spring, February happens. Every year, lol. Ah well, the kids love it, the dogs love it, and I can live with it as long as I don't have to drive in it much. We got two "snow storms" back to back in one week, giving us a fair amount of snow. Even though I'm not the biggest snow fan (mostly because I don't like being cold!), I sure do love the way our place looks in snow.
Every year, when we finally get a decent amount of snow, we like to head to the neighbor's hill so we can go sledding! We really look forward to this, seeing as it only gets to happen once, maybe twice. And it's made even better if Papa is off work to join us! This past Sunday we were lucky enough to have our sledding fun!
