Our sweet Molly got a pretty little shoulder pack, a new lunch pail she's had her eye on for a while, hair scrunchies she's been begging me for, new headphones, a few new CD's, a photo memory book, a mama & me notebook to write messages back and forth to each other, and spending cash!
Molly really wanted to have a special lunch for her birthday, so I made a huge reservation (19 people!) for a yummy lunch at our favorite restaurant, The Glass Onion. Our friend Tracie, who is the manager, was so sweet to make Molly a special birthday sign! She LOVED it!!
The kiddos were all very well behaved. We chatted, ate a delicious meal, Molly opened up a few gifts from her friends, and we sang happy birthday and enjoyed chocolate cake!
After her special birthday lunch at The Onion, we headed to the community pool! At only 70*, it wasn't the warmest, and there was a bit of a breeze, but the sun was out so it wasn't so bad. Besides, kids will swim no matter what! Molly and her friends spent about an hour and a half swimming before dragging their water logged bodies out of the water, lol.
Last, but not least, traditions call for the birthday girl to be marked on the height board!
