Happy Halloween! We had so much fun dressing up this year!! Look at those cute kiddos!
We had the best time at Trunk-Or-Treat this year! It was the biggest
it's been since we've lived here - spanning 3 blocks that were pretty
much jammed full of people giving out candy from their businesses and
car trunks. We all had a great time. Everyone LOVED Timothy's pizza costume.....I can't tell you how many times we heard, "Ohhhh I could just eat you up!" haha. Halfway through, Molly and Timothy were complaining that their candy bags were too heavy. I told them to hush; that that was a good problem. ;)
After Trunk-or-Treat, we stopped in at Grandma's where the kids dumped and sorted their loot. I may or may not have eaten 5 pieces of candy, lol.

Last night we carved our pumpkins while listening to Halloween music on Pandora! Monster Mash, anyone? It was awesome!
Look at Molly's pumpkin, lol, she picked it out because it looks like a butt, haha! Leave it to that girl to be our comic relief.
The
kids did a super great job getting the guts out of their pumpkins!
Timothy wasn't the biggest fan of scooping guts, haha, but he got the
job done with the help of a spoon so he didn't have to touch the stuff.
This year, we couldn't seem to find our kid friendly pumpkin carving tools, so it was a little bit slow going as we helped the kids carve with our kitchen knives. I love spooky, blood, and gore at Halloween, but I definitely didn't want any kiddos chopping their fingers off. ;)

The finished pumpkins! The kids were very proud of their work. I definitely think these are our best pumpkins ever!
