Our big guy turned 12 years old on the 27th! Does he look excited? I can't tell, lol.
For his birthday he got a swanky bow and some new arrows, a few books off his reading wish list, some CD's, two new PS4 games, a memory picture book, and spending cash!
Tradition calls for marking the birthday kiddo on the height board! Growing like a weed. He has averaged 2-2 1/2 inches each year! He will be taller than me in the next year for sure.
For his birthday this year, Anthony wanted to do paintball. We decided paintball wouldn't go so great for Molly and Tim, so we compromised on going to Wunderland Games in Gresham, OR with the family and a few of his friends to play in their arcade and do a few rounds of laser tag! I booked a "mini party" which got everyone (including adults) an arcade card, two rounds of laser tag, and a few tables for 2 hours. The arcade room was awesome! The kids has so much fun! There was a huge variety of games that kept them all busy, I was pretty impressed.
While the arcade games were awesome, I do believe the highlight of everyone's day was the two rounds of laser tag we got to play! Most of us had never played real laser tag, and it was a total blast! I didn't get too many photos inside the huge multi-level laser tag room because we were having so much fun! Wunderland is definitely a place we will take the kids back to.
Since we booked a mini party session, we were able to bring in drinks and a birthday treat. We opted for chocolate cupcakes with chocolate frosting! That was a crowd pleaser.
After our 2 hours at the Wunderland Game Center was up, we made the trek back towards home and stopped in at Spookys for dinner! Anthony received a special birthday cookie treat to share with his friends, and everyone enjoyed a tasty meal before heading on home.
