Timothy Lake Camping June 21st - 24th

Ah, you know it's officially summer when you go on your first camping trip of the season! We always try to book a camping trip within the first 2 weeks of the kiddos getting out of school. It's a great way to kick off summer.

We invited our friends to join us this go-around. They were only able to stay 2 of the 3 nights, but we jam packed tons of fun into those days! 

It was a bit chillier than we had hoped it would be, only averaging 65-70*, but that didn't stop the kids from wanting to play in the water. They practically lived in those kayaks! 

We took some walks, enjoyed the Saturday evening Campfire Chat they always have there, spent lots of time water side, ate yummy camp food, and relaxed by the fire. Nothing better than camping with friends where all the kids get along great!! 

After our friends left, we went on a hike to Little Crater Lake and to walk part of the PCT. We love taking the kids on hikes. Eventually....one of these days....there will be no whining about legs hurting or needing a snack. haha
