Anthony's Jazz Band Christmas Concert

Covid put a stop to a lot of things we took for granted. One of them being the kids' holiday programs. I didn't realize just how much I enjoyed them until we didn't have them. The last time Timothy had a Christmas program was the winter of 2019. He was in 2nd grade. Now he's in 4th grade.....his last year in the Primary Shcool.....and he still didn't have a program this year, much to our dissapointment. Two years gone. This was our last chance to watch our baby have a fun chorus Christmas program in the Primary School. It sucks.

Likewise, Anthony hasn't had a band concert since 2019. Anthony is no longer in regular band. His elective schedule didn't allow him to do band. However, he is able to be in Jazz Band, because that is before school, at 7am. And luckily his band instructor was able to pull off a Christmas concert, with masks and social distancing. I am so thankful! It felt great to have some normal back in our lives.

The kids played beautifully, and I am so proud of Anthony.

With love,                                                                                                      Mama Hauck
