We had the perfect snow day yesterday! Every year, when we get the perfect amount of snow, and when it is the perfect consistancy, we take the kiddos sledding on the neighbor's hill! Yesterday was the day! Ideally we like to go sledding with friends, but it was nice for it to be just us this year. We even bought the kids each a new sled....a month ago! hahaha We wanted to be sure we were well prepared for when the perfect snow day was upon us.
After sledding and getting warmed back up, Sammy decided to go get Ellie ready for Molly. It's been a little while since she's ridden Ellie, and we still had a little bit of day light left on our perfect snow day, so why not!? I'm sure we could have put a bareback pad on Maizy as well, and I could have hopped on with little issues, especially with Sam being there on the ground, but I am still taking it slow with her. She still shows anxiety, and I am good with taking the time it takes. I enjoy just being able to lead her around and spend time with her. Maybe next perfect snow day. It wouldn't feel so bad falling into snow if something were to happen, hahaha. Anyway, Molly really enjoyed her ride on Ellie and I enjoyed my time with Maizy!
