It's a bummer Anthony's Spring break isn't at the same time as Molly and Timothy's, but today I thought it would be fun for Molly and Tim to play hooky from school so we could all go on a little hike with Anthony as his Spring break is coming to a close.
We went to Horsethief Butte, just a short ways down the Gorge, not even to The Dalles. We've done this little trek a few times before. It's just a short one, perfect for packing a picnic and taking in the sights. The weather was gorgeous. Anthony and Timothy wound up branching off to climb to the top of the butte, but Molly and I decided to stay on the bottom trail and wait for the boys to come back.
All in all, it was a great little hike. Afterwards, we went to our favorite - Big Jims - for lunch before having to head home so Molly could make her job interview for a parks and rec job this summer.
