Last Day of the 2021-2022 School Year!

You've put in the hard work all year. Check!

You've killed it in all your classes, as well as your extracurriculars. Check!

You've cleaned out desks, lockers, and backpacks. Check! 

We've sent off gifts to office ladies, bus drivers, and teachers. Check! 

We've said goodbye to teachers, staff, and friends for the summer (well, we will see some friends over the summer!). Check!

So now I can officially say happy last day of school, and happy first day of summer break, kiddos!! 

Alllll of Summer stretches out in front of us. I am so excited for sleeping in, camping, hiking, swimming, movies, eating out, hanging out on the porch under the lights, laying in the hammock, picnics, and of course, many lazy days ahead. 

Now that school is out for the summer, I couldn't resist snapping a last day of school photo on the front steps. I love doing first day of school vs last day of school comparison photos. I love being able to see their growth! 

August, 2021 - First day of school! 

June, 2022 - Last day of school! 

Because the kids have all put in the extra mile, and each have dealt with different difficult social situations this past year, I wanted to write them each a note and get them a treat to help celebrate the end of the school year! I think they liked them....even though Anthony and Molly are more reserved with their expressions of love, haha. 

Lets see what the summer holds! First up, our first camping trip of the year next week to Lost Lake, followed by Anthony and Molly's birthdays!
