Anthony's Senior Presentation

Yesterday evening we had the great privilege and honor of watching Anthony present his senior presentation!

This is a requirement our school district has in order for seniors to graduate.

They need to create a slideshow to present to a panel of 4 judges, as well as their family. The slideshow is all about them. Basic info, favorite qualities and character traits, their top 5 accomplishments in and out of school, skills developed and what they've learned via school and their accomplishments, their main after high school plan, if college...then their college financial plan, their plan b, and finally reflections. It was a 13 slide presentation. They have to dress up, and the presentation has to be at least 8 minutes, and no more than 15.

Anthony did amazing! He worked really hard on the slideshow, and spent a lot of time practicing presenting to us here at home. Not only did he look ohhhh so handsome, but he nailed it on time, coming in at 11 1/2 minutes, plus time for questions. He was friendly, personable, and knew his shit.

We are very proud of him.

The icing on the cake was that my friend Molly, who has been a close family friend for 16 years now, was able to make it to his senior presentation to support him. I am so thankful for that. You can never have too many people in your kiddo's corner, loving them and cheering them on. She also works in the school system, so she has been an ongoing support for all of my children for the entirety of their school careers. She is a gem.

Way to kick ass, Anthony! Another task on the senior to-do list, officially marked ta-done!

With love,
Mama Hauck
