Our chickens never stopped laying over winter, which was really nice. We were getting 2-3 a day. So not enough to stop buying eggs from the store all together when we knew we were going to do a bit of extra baking, but definitely a pleasing amount. 

But then the middle of February hit, and egg production EXPLODED. We have been getting 8-11 a day. It's been wild. With our surplus we have made breakfast burritos for the freezer, and been able to share 12 and 18 packs with friends and family. 

In our current economy, if you're rolling in the eggs, you're rich, baby!
