Anthony's Band Concert

Anthony had his band concert last night, and ohhhh my was he a handsome devil!

Unfortunately, we were very pressed for time and Papa was already in town running errands before the concert.....so we didn't get photos of Anthony with Mama and Papa. Darn it. Next year!

This year the concert was in the middle school, and we decided to go all the way upstairs to the bleachers up there. So we got more of a distant aerial view of the concert instead of knowing I wouldn't be able to see Antony all the way in the 3rd row from the downstairs's smaller bleachers. This worked out well. We enjoyed the view and being able to see him the whole time, I just wish I had put my other lens on so I could have gotten better zoomed in photos!

For 6th graders, they played great! A few squeakers in the bunch, hahaha, but you know what....unlike last year, you could actually tell what songs they were playing! I deem that a successful program!

Keep jammin' Anthony!

Molly's Christmas Program

Molly had her Christmas program last night! She looked so beautiful. We don't get to "dress up" often, so when she gets the chance to do so, she gets very excited and loves it!! We bought this dress new for her program as she has outgrown the few other dresses she has. Guess it's time to invest in a couple more!

As always, Molly did a wonderful job! She always shines when she sings. And she was right there in the front row for me to see, just how I like her! lol

Great work, Hunny Bunny!

Timothy's Christmas Program

Timothy had his Christmas concert this past Monday! He was so excited!

He has grown up so much this past year. He's no longer that shy boy that just stands there at his concerts and doesn't participate; he is totally in it! Singing his heart out, smiling, doing all the dancing and hand motions....yay! Love it!!

He loved that he was able to be by his best friend Peter. I think that made him feel a little bit more confident. He also had a special part at the end! He ran off with another gal to find Santa, and together they led him into the room and said, "We found Santa! We found Santa!" We are so proud of him for taking on that special part. His teacher really wanted him to have a speaking part, but he was so hesitant and declined. Finally, after talking about it for a bit, he decided he DID want a special part, just not one where he had a lot to say. So this was a good compromise; he got a special part, but was able to say his line with another kid. Great work, Sweet boy!
