And.....IDK. Lots of other things I suppose. Things I don't even know I need to be doing or get done yet.
We had Anthony's Senior, as well as our family photos, taken on November 9th. She hustled through Anthony's because we have to submit his photo and Senior quote to the yearbook by the 22nd (which we've done...check!), but we haven't gotten our family photos back yet. Hopefully soon.
And for those that don't know yet, Anthony has been accepted into Central Washington University (CWU). He is a future Wildcat! Not only is the campus gorgeous, and the college and staff population diverse and inclusive, but CWU has an amazing Aviation Program.
Anthony intends to pursue a career in aviation. He really wants to be a pilot. The only caveat to this is that the Pilot's Program, the specific program one must take to become a pilot within the Aviation Program, is in high demand. Last year they had over 300 applicants, and only 65 were chosen. So you have to write an essay and apply for the program. Hopefully he will impress them and be chosen. If not....that's ok! Students can take all of the Aviation Program classes and apply for the specific Pilot's Program the next year, and so forth. And, if nothing else, he can take all the Aviation Program classes at CWU, and go through a different place in Yakima to get his actual Pilot's license. We will just have to wait and see how everything plays out. There are a lot of options, with a lot of different roads.
We are just insanely proud of Anthony for pursuing what he wants to do in life and will support him in all ways possible, with whatever journey comes his way.
Now, Senior photo time! He got some taken with his letterman jacket, some in a normal outfit, and a whole bunch with the Galaxie. I wish she would have taken more normal ones, and not so many with the car. And they are edited a little darker and moody than I would have chosen myself....but regardless the photos turned out great and we had plenty to choose from for the yearbook. I'm excited to make a Senior photo book for ourselves and get some on the wall!
