Advent days 1-5

We are officially in the full swing of advent calendar fun! 

If you recall, Day 1 was deck the halls! 

Day 2, hot tub party! I grabbed a hot tea, Sammy grabbed a beer, and the kiddos each grabbed a thermos full of hot chocolate to bring down to our hot tub party. We turned on the lights, the fire pit, and blasted Christmas music while we all talked, the kids splashed around, and we gazed up at the stars. 

Day 3, Christmas movie and treats in Mama and Papa's bed! We choose one of our new favorites, Daddy's Home 2. Love hearing the kids laugh. 

Day 4, teach the kiddos how to make rice crispie treats! (Because every kid should know how.) We did this during our weekly Friday dinner at Grandma Cathy's house. 

Day 5, Go to Packer Orchards in Hood River, OR for some ice cream and cookies, then hike the Pipeline Trail! Or favorite! 

We seriously had so much fun. It was cold out, but we dressed super warm and it was so fun doing the Pipeline Trail during a part of the year we haven't done it before! 

One this hike I discovered how to take slowmo videos, soooooo the kids got silly with that. Enjoy, hahaha.
