Reminded

Sometimes I get frustrated that we live so far out of town. The hardships and complications this causes just makes me want to scream. I find myself wishing things were different, easier, more convenient. I find myself resentful of how much our distance from town affects our lives in ways too many to list. 

However, it's moments like these that make me sigh a deep sigh.  

I am reminded that I am indeed thankful for all that we have and where we are.

I am reminded to slow down and think of the good. 

I am reminded to just take everything in stride.

I am reminded that, like everything, "this too shall pass."
