JoJo's Bizarre Adventure

One of Anthony's favorite shows is JoJo's Bizarre Adventure. It's  Japanese manga series. I've watched quite a few episodes with him, the first 2 seasons, and discovered, much to my surprise, that I also love it.

Together, we were silly and stuck a few JoJo poses during his CWU photoshoot this past September. And then Anth stuck another pose during family photos, which actually wound up being one of my favorite photos of the whole shoot.

Recently, I was scrolling on Etsy, getting my Christmas shopping started for Sam and the kids, when I came across this shop that could take any photo you give and "JoJoify" it. I knew instantly that I had to do this for Anthony, and I had just the perfect photo where he was already striking a JoJo pose!

I 100% squealed with delight when I saw the shop owner's digital JoJo rendition of Anthony. I can't wait to print it and frame it for him for Christmas! I'll have to print one for myself as well, I love it so much. I hope it makes him smile, even if it is a little cheesy, lol.

Goat Field Bonfire

We have a bunch of fallen trees on our property that we have slowly been limbing and piling up. We've got multiple piles now, all around the property, just waiting for the perfect weather conditions to be burned. One pile is in the goat field, and as luck would have it, Fall, after the rain has started, is the most perfect time to have a bonfire. Even better, Anthony coming home for the weekend to help.

The goats didn't know what the fuck was happening, and that was the very best part! Running away from the loud tractor, their bewildered faces when they saw the flames, inching closer and closer to the heat until I yelled at them to get away. LOL  A good time was definitely had by all.

With love,                                                                                                      Mama Hauck

This Morning's Haiku

There are stretches of time where I feel stagnate, and it's hard to write. Then there are other times where I can write multiple pieces in a span of a few days. I much prefer that. To create. Even if no one ever sees it or likes it.

After reading a haiku the other day, I felt inspired to try my hand at writing a few myself. Here's a silly one I wrote, inspired by my boys. I read it aloud to them, and I laughed. I couldn't tell if they were impressed or not. A little rude to withhold their thoughts, even when I asked. Still, they got their animal crackers.
