Meet Gypsy!

Molly got herself a kitty.

I know, I know. Deja-vu.  We just got a new kitty, Tim's Kit-Kat. And now we have another!

I must be crazy. But one does not simply walk away from someone who is literally hanging you a kitten and asking you to take it home. *cough* Sam. I'm looking at you.

Meet Gypsy. This one is indeed a girl. Unlike Kit-Kat, who we thought was a girl....but was not, lol.

Gypsy is an early (way early!) birthday present to Molly, our only child who didn't have an animal of her own to love. Now that has changed, and our little stinker butt is as happy as a clam.

The verdict is still out on this Gypsy. She's super cute....but definitely not as friendly as Kit-Kat. Hopefully that'll change with a lot of man handling and forced snuggle time. She is a stubborn one as well. There is no keeping this kitty from doing what she wants to do. Hmmmm, sounds a lot like Molly. Two peas in a pod?

For example, we were not ready for Gypsy to learn how to use the back doggie door, but she had other plans. All it took was watching Kit-Kat go through once, and she was like I'm outta here! And now there is no stopping her. Molly freaks outs each time she goes outside in the fenced dog yard, but so far all has been well and she is safe back there during the day. She doesn't go out at night, she is locked in Molly's room with her for bed time. It's super cute watching the kitties romp around the back yard! Even Leo plays with the kitties, he is such a good boy.

Kit-Kat has proven to be a good big brother, taking her under his wing and given her some kitty love and snuggles when she needs it. Their favorite pass time is snuggling on Molly's bed when the sun hits that side of the house and turns her room into a sauna. I admit, it is pretty adorable watching them snuggle.

Ok, now that everyone has an animal of their own, we can call it good. And so far everyone is proving to be a good animal Mama and Papa. For the most part. Good job, kiddos.

With love,
Mama Hauck
