You know it's time to make the change from crib to bed when you've got a crawler on your hands! Timothy has learned how to crawl out of his crib....and he doesn't always do it without hurting himself. I've heard a few loud thuds followed by his poor little cry and we just can't have that can we!

What a happy big boy!
Our crib converts into a day/toddler bed. We have had this crib since Anthony was a baby. I got it when he was still in my belly. Ohhh how many times I have stood by it's side peering down at the precious life that was sleeping so soundly.
What am I going to do when we have no use for it anymore?

I love what a child's imagination can dream up. Anthony has been into Legos for years now. He loves the Lego sets, mainly the City collection or the Creator collection, but you can't go wrong with just a whole bunch of loose Legos and your imagination.
Did you know that there's such a thing as a boat that can also fly when you want it to? I wonder how much those cost. Probably a million gajillion dollars.
Sometimes we get a little space crazy, so it only makes sense to build the international space station. Did you watch the Discovery Channel's "Live From the Space Station" show a while back? We thought it was pretty awesome.
Don't get yourself into any trouble or you might wind up in the slammer being interrogated by a cop in a hard hat while the sheriff stares out the window daydreaming.
Then there's the boat dock where boats can come in, fuel up, and dock. Did you notice the bathroom on top of the boat dock? That's a nice touch.
So awesome. Legos ROCK!

Friday night I went out to dinner with some girlfriends for a quiet Mama's night. I resisted at first, saying I had a lot of painting to get done and oh I have the farmers market the next morning.....but ultimately I decided I should go and oh my, I always forget how nice it is to get out of the house with some of your gals for some chit-chat and a yummy dinner! I even dressed up a bit....and by dressing up I mean putting on a skirt with a simple tank top, lol.
We went out to dinner at River Tap and then took a stroll to a local winery, but it had just closed. Bummer. We'll make a point of going there again because the sitting area was super cute and relaxed. We decided to head to one of the gal's houses where wouldn't you know, we all sat around and talked about our kids. Mama's night out and somehow our conversations inevitably turns to what's on our hearts.
Super fun, much needed night out with a great group of Mamas. I am so lucky.
