Baby

I love it when I hear giggling from the bedroom and find two happy kiddos playing ever so nicely!

Playing "Baby" is still popular in our house....

.....Made so by a 21 month old Molly Lynn Elizabeth.

We still feed the baby and burp the baby. Still diaper the baby and dress the baby. Blanket the baby and put the baby to bed. The only real difference now a days is the addition of more babies. And more giggling while playing baby. :)

I wonder

In a years time, will you still blow me a kiss when you leave for school?

I wonder if you will still turn around, just one more time, to see if I am watching.
I wonder if you will still hold my hand.
I wonder if you will still ask what I am going to do while you're gone.
I wonder if you will still miss me.
I wonder if you will still light up when I tell you I can't wait to see you.

It's always been so hard to watch you go; first in everything, my big brave boy. But I promise to never hold you back. Spread your wings, little bird. And if you need to turn around, just one more time, to see if I am watching.....

I will be.

Crock Pot BBQ Chicken Sandwich

I love my crock pot. It helps me to pretend I can cook. ;)

Crock Pot BBQ Chicken Sandwiches

Ingredients:

3-4 boneless skinless chicken breasts, thawed or frozen
18 ounce bottle barbecue sauce
1/2 cup italian salad dressing
1/4 cup brown sugar
2 tbsp worcestershire sauce

Directions:

1. Place chicken in crock pot.
2. In a bowl, combine the barbecue sauce, italian dressing, brown sugar, and worcestershire.
3. Pour sauce over the chicken and cover with lid. Cook 6 - 8 hours on low or 3 - 4 hours on high.
4. Remove chicken from the slow cooker and shred using two forks. Return the chicken to the slow cooker to coat with sauce and serve on kaiser rolls.
