April Photo Shoot

Here are a hand full of photos from my last photo shoot! This was a hard shoot for me. It was a difficult location to work with because of all the houses and cars around, but we made due. Ultimately, in my opinion, seeing the houses in the background in a few of the photos doesn't take away from the gals. The photos I took of them back at the house in their back yard I like better though. The client got his proof book yesterday so now I'm just waiting on his print order and then I can close the book on this one!

Buckin' Bronco

I got bucked off my horsey and I'm a hurting unit. 

*sigh*

I think Nik was testing his boundaries and we were out in the field and he got a little too frisky. Ugh. Not the first time I've fallen off a horse and certainly wont be the last. And yes, I did get back on. Sam came bolting over fearing the worst, and I just told him to hold the reins so I could get back on, haha.

I've got rope burn on my right hand that's making it feel like it's on fire, a swollen left inner thigh that I know will be a killer bruise, and a sore....everything else. I didn't realize how bad I was hurting until all my adrenaline wore off and I was back at home. I know I'll probably be worse tomorrow. Don't fret too much. I'm OK!! :)

Anyway, crap happens.

Rain Rain

Anthony: Sitting on the back of the couch peering out the window "Mama! Oh no! It's raining! Sing the song...."

Me: "Oh bums, it is raining. What song?"

Anthony: "Rain rain go away"

Me: "Oh, hehehehe. Rain rain go away, come again another day."

Anthony: "Mama it's not working! Rain rain go away, come again another day. It's not working!"

Apparently he watched a cartoon where when they sang the song, the rain went away. :) Too funny!! The rain did eventually go away later in the day and both kiddos were delighted to be able to play outside.
