Goldendale Farmers Market Holiday Bazaar

Sam and I participated in the Goldendale Farmers Market Holiday Bazaar last weekend! This was our third year doing so. We always have a great time seeing everyone.

We worked sooooo hard to stock up for the Bazaar! We payed for two spots instead of one like in years past, knowing we would have more than our usual stock of handmade goods. Our tables were full of items; lots of them new. Our display looked so awesome! I can't tell you how many hours I spent painting signs at the kitchen table, making ornaments, making garland, and making Christmas ornament photo holders. My hands and wrists are paying for it.

We only went to a few Farmers Markets over this past summer.....we are putting a larger emphases on time spent with the kids, so that means less time making money at the market.....so we really wanted to step it up and make our presence known at the Holiday Bazaar.

We saw a lot of familiar faces and were told so many times by people that we have been missed at the Market and how happy they were to see us. That was awesome.

By Bazaar's end, we did really well! I sold 14 signs, along with a handful of other items. Our goal was to make enough to cover the cost of the cabin we want to rent in Sunriver so we can take the kids on a week long vacation there the end of June. We totally met that goal and we couldn't be happier.

It feels so great knowing that all of our hard work payed off and we met our goal. Next goal? Saving up some spending money for our vacation! :) Better get to painting.....

With love,
Mama Hauck
