2015 Goldendale Farmers Market Season

Today we had the most amazing opening market day!

Thank you to everyone who came out to see us and all the other local vendors! You truly do make a difference in the lives of all our local farmers and crafters. I've talked to many of our produce vendors and they truly do love supplying our townspeople with fresh, local fruits and veggies. And the fact that you show up to purchase from them week after week, well, it makes all of their hard work worth it!

As for the crafters, we not only do this because we love it.....we do it because you love it too! We love to see your face light up when you find the most perfect gift you'd been searching for, or you found something you just couldn't live without for yourself! :)  Also, I know for some, their crafting is a large part of their income and the fact that you choose to shop the farmers market and shop locally DOES make a huge impact on all those that vend.

And as for myself and Sam personally, we want to take the time to give every one of you who has shown us your love, encouragement, and support a huge THANK YOU. It takes so much work and patience to keep Goldendale Country Bumpkins going....all the while raising 3 kiddos. But oohhhh is it FUN! Thank you.

We had a little extra added fun at the market today! Since tomorrow is Mother's Day, I wanted to be sure to have a special Mother's Day item at the market today....so I came up with this!:

Oh boy did all those little ones that stopped by our booth today have a good time getting their hand painted to become special hand print flowers for their Mama's!

We sold all of them but 1! I sure hope they made a lot of kiddos and Mamas happy! :)

Hooray for the start of the 2015 Goldendale Farmers Market Season, and again, thank you! Goldendale Country Bumpkins will be at the farmers market every 1st and 3rd Saturdays of the month from now thru September. If you are local, we hope to see you there!

With love,
Mama Hauck
