The WAAAM

Last weekend, after the kids' first soccer games, we headed to Hood River to visit the WAAAM (Western Antique Aeroplane and Automobile Museum)!

This was our first time visiting the WAAAM and the kids just loved it! It was actually a special weekend, the WAAAM was having their annual Fly-In, this is where owners of older model aircrafts from all over fly in and display their aircrafts outside for all to see. So not only did we get to see what was displayed in the museum itself, but we were treated to all the aircrafts that were flown in for the special Fly-In weekend!

It was seriously so awesome. The kids were very well behaved and really enjoyed looking at all the old airplanes and cars. We liked deciding which airplanes and cars were our favorites and which ones we'd want to own if we were millionaires, lol. They even had a special kids section where the kids got to burn off some pent up energy and play.

We will definitely be going there again! The museum is sure to be a crowd pleaser, even when there isn't a special event going on!

Super fun day!

With love,
Mama Hauck
