Backyard camping!
We moved our pop-up down to the garden/hot tub area and set up camp! The kiddos helped get their beds all set up while Sammy started the grill and got some hot dogs going for us. They were so excited! Its amazing how something as simple as camping in the backyard can make a kid happier than a pig in mud. Our camp looked pretty dang sweet if I do say so myself.
After filling our bellies, everyone took a dip in the hot tub! The kids especially loved the red hot tub light. Anthony said it was cool because it looked like blood. Or maybe it was Molly who said that.
No camping trip of ours is ever complete without a rousing game of UNO! We're pretty serious about our UNO, you know.
The pop-up sleeps our family just perfect. The boys shared the left side, Sam and I had the right side, and Molly got her own special bed in the middle - which is really the table folded down with the bench cushions over it. Perfect.
We'll have one more camping night this year before the pop-up sits for the winter. Our friends are having a camp out birthday party for their kiddos the end of October and we plan to have a blast at that!! Better bring the UNO cards.....
