Christmas Eve on the Hauck Homestead 2012

Christmas Eve was fun in the Hauck household! Sam and I made banana bread and blueberry muffins for our Christmas morning breakfast. We had a bon fire later on and it started snowing while we were all sitting around relaxing. It was great! The kids were super excited about the snow, so while I headed inside with Timothy, Sam stayed out with Anthony and Molly and built a snow man. For dinner we had homemade spaghetti and garlic bread. After dinner, the kids each opened up one gift, we spread our reindeer food out in the yard, watched some Christmas movies while munching on popcorn and other goodies, picked out our treats for Santa, and wrote him a note! Once we persuaded the kids to go to bed, telling them Santa wouldn't come until they were asleep, Sammy and I got to work "helping Santa" by eating his treats and delivering gifts. :) What a fantastic Christmas Eve!

Stay tuned for Christmas Day!

With love,
Mama Hauck
