You could tell he was nervous. He was like, "Why are there so many people here? Who are those other kids!?" I explained to him when you play a real soccer game, you play against other kids not on the same team. This was a game, not practice! He wasn't too keen on the idea of there being so many people. I thought he was going clam up and not play, but wouldn't you know it, he ran out onto the field when coached called him!
That boy is just growing in leaps and bounds!
Timothy was AMAZING! I'm actually shocked how well he played and how into it he got! He was up and down the field and all over the ball! He was having a grand 'ol time for sure! Totally made my heart swell watching him play; it's his first time doing something like this! We are so, so proud of him!
And the icing on the cake? He scored FOUR goals!! FOUR! Wowzer!! Keep up the great work, Timothy! We are so happy you had so much fun!
