Spring Break Hike

One thing we wanted to make sure we did with the the kiddo's during their Spring break and Grandma's time with us, was to get out and take a hike with them! I'm so excited that the weather is getting nicer and hiking season is here! 

We chose a hike we did last year, the Columbia Hills State Park Crawford Oaks trail. Last year we did it during the summer and the view was nice rolling fields of tall golden grass. It was beautiful! This time we were hoping to catch all the wildflowers, but darn it, we were too early! I'm hoping we'll be able to go back in the next week or so. 

Despite the lack of flower filled fields, the hike was beautiful and we enjoyed our time! 

As the kids get older, we enjoy our time hiking with them more and more. We sure are looking forward to getting out more with the kids and getting our hike on!
