Ugly Christmas Sweater Party!

On Sunday we went over to our friends, The Johnson's, for the their ugly Christmas sweater party. Oh man was it a blast! Little Timothy wasn't feeling well, so Grandma Cathy agreed she would stay home with him so Sam and I could still go with the other two kids and enjoy the evening. Thanks, Grandma!

The food was delicious!! Tracie had cookies, popcorn, wraps, mac and cheese, hummus and veggies, deviled eggs, chex-mix, and artichoke bites. The mac and cheese was my favorite, I had three servings!

She even had a hot chocolate bar, complete with mini mallows, crushed candy canes, home made whipped cream, and chocolate wafers. YUM!!

Their house was beautifully decorated. I just love their tree! People started showing up about 3 o'clock and each time someone new walked in the door, the rest of us delighted in seeing their ugly sweater, LOL! We talked, laughed, mingled, ate, drank, played games, and even managed to get the group together for a photo. There were a few hiders in the photo, (uhhhhmmmm, you know who you are!), but that's ok. I think we were so eager to get the photo done so people could strip down and cool off a bit.

Thank you Johnson's for such a fun evening! We love you.

With love,
Mama Hauck

  1. This looks like a lot of fun, I'm glad the kids were able to be a part of it! Y'all look great in your sweaters. And the tree is beautiful!
