Timothy's Birthday Gathering

Timothy's little birthday gathering was wonderful. We had a few of our close friends over with their kiddos for a mellow lunch and cupcakes. Yum and fun! We had pulled pork sandwiches, brown beans, noodle salad, chips & dips, and punch.

I asked friends who wanted to bring gifts to think about bringing snack items for Timothy. Grandma got Timothy a much needed new pair of shoes and we got him a fun blow up hop along toy, but he wasn't in need of any other toys or clothes....so snacks was a practical gift idea. He loved all the yummy goodies he received and I'm thankful to have all those snacks stocked up in the pantry to help with our grocery bill! Timothy was really sweet opening his gifts and ohh'd and ahh'd and got excited as he saw each snack and the couple books and cards with money. What a thankful little boy!

After presents we rolled right into cupcake time. Timothy had his own little cupcake and it was sweet watching Papa help him blow out his candle.

We had a cupcake bar set up so everyone could frost and top their own cupcakes. That was a big hit. Chocolate cupcake with chocolate frosting topped with buttfinger crumbs, please!

I want to thank everyone who took the time to swing by and help us celebrate! It means the world to us.

Six more days and my little man will be 2!

With love,
Mama Hauck
