When I roll out of bed in the morning and I know.....

There will be a sweet baby with a huge smile plastered on his face looking up at me from his crib like no one in the World matters to him as much as I do....

I'm going to get at least 5 "I love yous" from my big boy by the time I take him to the bus stop and see him off to school at 7:10 am....

I get to spend the day with a little gal who will continuously impress me by showing off her new dance moves and counting to 10 a million times and sing the alphabet in that sweet sing-song voice....

I know my husband will actually be coming home that night and he's not off in Denver or Portland or Houston for work for the week or more....

It doesn't matter how draining the previous day was or how awful I slept last night, I'm thankful God has given me another day to live and soak in all the joy my family brings me.

With love,
Mama Hauck

  1. Your amazing!! Love you hun. Sammy

  2. If someone were to ask me why I'm so proud to call you my friend, I would show them this. You're one of the most amazing people I know Becca, I wish there were more like you around.

  3. And I am blessed to be able to read your sweet words. I am as always impressed. Love you

  4. Love this post! I wake up feeling like that every morning since I moved back to California. I had some days here and there in Florida, but for the most part I felt overwhelmed and struggled to get my butt out of bed and make an effort to actually enjoy my life. I'm so, so glad that all that has changed and I can just brush off all the things that happened in any given day and still wake up the next with a smile on my face.

  5. I've had a few people tell me recently how amazing I am and how I'm one of the best Mamas. I truly appreciate that....it's always nice to hear when someone thinks you're doing something right when all you keep thinking about is all the things you're doing wrong.

@Lori- I can't even tell you how glad I am that you have your happy back!! I'm thankful you were brave enough to make that move and do what you knew was best for you and your kids. You rock!!!
