My Exciting News!

I've got another photo shoot lined up!

This is my happy face.............

One of the guys Sam knows from work called (Cause he had one of my rad business cards!) and scheduled a photo shoot for his two young girls for the 23rd of this month. They will be getting their hair done and wearing their pretty Easter dresses for this shoot. I'm excited!.....though nervous. But I'm always nervous. I hope I do well. I'll be bringing a little bench from Anthony's room to hopefully use as a prop and I'm hoping they might have some things in mind for props too. I wish I had cute umbrellas or nice handled wicker Easter baskets to bring and use. Pray for warm weather and sunshine!!! And smiles. haha

So there you have it. My exciting news. Professional photo shoot number two coming up! :)

With love,
Mama Hauck

  3. Thanks! I'm nervous, but I just need to keep telling myself that I can do it. Confidence is a hard thing for me. I'd love to do family photos for you! I think we are checking flight prices right now.....can't promise anything, but we'll see!

  4. We are going to Washington DC August 1st thru the 7th so....don't come that week or we'll miss ya!! We weren't going to go so far this year, but Jacob was offered to do a DC trip through school and it was like $4,500, 4 kids to a room and only 1 chaperone per 10 kids. I was like F*NO you're so not going that far without your mom or dad, yeah I know overprotective mom here...so Jason promised him we would all go as a family and probably spend what it would cost him to go alone. So, I've been saving like crazy. I have this HUGE pickle Jar (I think there is even a poem about the coin in the pickel jar) anyway, that's what I save for vacation every year, we toss all of our loose coin in there and bring it to the bank. So, far I've mananged to save $725.00 in coin, the jar is only half full! I'm a freak about it, every month, I take it out and count it and log it, and see how much we've saved in a month. I'm a little OCD, I know! It's fun for the kids too.

  5. 1 chaperon per 10 kids is no good in my book. I hope you all have a good time when you go! I think you're awesome for being able to save like that. I put our spare change in two separate saving jars for Anthony and Molly. :)

  6. Oh that's an awesome idea too. Did you decorate them? Do they know you have them? Kids are funny with money. Joshua just recently did a "money" unit at school and had to have like $5.00 in change, he was so excited when we told him he got to keep it! HE's our big saver in the family. Jacob get's a dollor and blows it on candy. We do an auto transfer every week from Jason's accoun't to each of the boy's account, I also do that for a "christmas" account. The amounts are both small, but by the end of the year, you go yeah look what I've saved and didn't even know you had it because it was taken out of the check already.
