The Mama Life

Sometimes you just have one of those days...

Anthony has been testing his boundaries lately and driving me absolutely nuts.....to the point of me wanting to rip my hair out. I know he's just being the typical 3 1/2 year old figuring out what he can and can not get away with and figuring out the world, but I'm going nuts in the process. And I don't know if Molly's diapers are just fitting her wrong now or what, but she has peed through onto the couch 4 times in the past 2 days without them even being full!! My furniture smells like wee-wee!! The house is being trashed every 10 seconds. I went and got in the shower with the house being picked up and by the time I got out, all my books and magazines were torn apart and thrown all over the living room. I find much joy with picking the same things up over and over and over and over......The two have taken to screaming at each other at the top of their lungs. That's blissful music to my ears.

No one ever said the life of a stay at home Mama ever did run smooth. Maybe if I feed my babies more chocolate they'll be a little sweeter for me? Haha

With love,
Mama Hauck

  2. Maybe you need to add a little Valium to their chocolate.

    Kidding! :)

  3. I agree with Barry, have a Mocha, Valium, Vodka Latte with whip!! Or maybe just a nice hot cup of Hot Cocoa with whip! Even though you've already showered, when Sam gets home take a hot bath with a nice drink and a magazine or two and LOCK the door!! This always helps me! Hang in there! I feel your pain! I'm going through a whole different set of issues with my boys.....school work, getting to bed on time, eating too much junk! With each age, there are new (often exciting often difficult) stages to go through! Smiles to you!! :) ;) :0) <:)

  4. HAHAHA! Too funny.

Sometimes I go and take a long bath when Sam gets home. That helps, though it would be better if I couldn't hear the kids screaming from the other room, lol.

I know, it's funny to think that once you think you have things covered, they grow up and it's a whole new set of issues like you said! School work doesn't sound like a fun battle at all!!!
