Roloff Farm Adventures

It was a long drive to get to the Roloff farm. On the way there we experienced snotty noses, yelling, crying, and toddler tantrums. All was made better though once I saw the glorious field of pumpkins! My friend Jessie, her daughter Madie, and Madie's dad came with us in their own vehicle, so after we collected our thoughts, we headed on down to the Roloff Farm!! There was a small petting zoo with a few animals and the kids had a good time watching them....because that's about all they would do, lol, too afraid to pet them! There was a bouncy house Anthony and Madie climbed up in and played for a good while. They also got so lucky as to go on a pony ride!! Yeeehaw! Molly was papa's little girl the whole time. She sat herself in the pumpkin wagon and had her Papa pull her all over the place, it was so cute! Anthony was feeling a bit better cold wise, but for some reason seemed so dang serious in many of the photos I took. Even while riding the pony it was difficult to get a smile! lol Such a serious little man sometimes.  Molly on the other hand was a wreck. Groggy, snotty, and just overall blah. I think she had a good time though despite a few instances where her eyes unleashed Niagra falls. :) We got TONS of pumpkins. Big ones, little ones, orange ones, green ones. It was a fun day!

I was able to take a photo of Matt Roloff, the dad, sitting in his golf cart type thing on the hill. I would have been able to get a better photo if I had noticed him sitting there before I had walked forever away! haha  And I did see the mom, but we were weighing our pumpkins by then so I couldn't get a photo of her. Ahh well!

  1. OMG!!! my favorite picture of all is of Molly, full on tears...she looks PISSED and it's so dang cute!! why the tears? cold? drive? just being? Love all of the pictures, but had to have a favorite. It's priceless!

How long did it take you to get there? How crazy busy was it? When you see it on the show it looks like 2 hours of just waiting in line to get inside? Awesome you got Matt on film! They show him a lot driving that damn golf cart thing. I'm sure it's easy for him though.

Awesome your friend and family could join you.
Is she the one you try to see weekly?

Do you remember my girls night out? Well...my friend her dog got super sick today and she had to stay in to be with her so we didn't end up going out. Such a long story...my friends Mike and Miranda bought their dogs from Tim and Connie Carroll about 10 years ago when they had Hannah and she had babies, so my friend has had these 2 dogs the entire time and only recently had kids so they are her babies. She's really upset. It's so sad. I did't want to hang with her sister without her so I went and got a few movies and some Mikes Hard Lemonade so it's all good...still a girls night, just solo! I just feel bad for my friend. The dogs back legs can't move, and they are looking into a "cart" for her, because the meds aren't helping. So sad.

I love the pictures....so glad you had fun even with cold and snot noses. I'm getting a package together for you, the boys school pictures & more CD's for Sammy.

    Cheers! Lori

  3. Wow, I know you don't like to think of it but they're growing up fast! Anthony especially, he's looking like quite the little man.

Despite the tears and sniffles I'm sure it's something you'll be able to look back on with a smile.

  5. Lori, Molly was just being a pill because she's sick, lol. I love that photo too. :) It took a good 2 1/2 hours to get there. It actually wasn't as busy as I thought it was going to be....but we did go on a Friday. It's probably super busy on the weekends! Yes, Jessie is the one I try to see every week. I'm super sorry to hear about your friend's dog!! I know that must be hard on her. How awful. :( Can't wait to see they boys' photos! :)

Jill, YUP! Got your photo of your apple crisp. Looks delicious!

Barry, I know it. So handsome!

Amanda,it was a beautiful farm and the kids had a great time! I wish we would have had the money to take their wagon ride to tour the entire farm....how cool would that have been!? Thank you. :)
