That's Cute, Mama

"Whoa-ho! Hey, hey! That's cute, Mama. That's cute." .....so said my 3 year old little boy as he watched me try on jeans and such while trying to pick out an outfit to wear on our pumpkin patch adventure tomorrow!

Don't you just want to pinch his cheeks and give him a big 'ol smooch for being so sweet?

The Roloff family, the family from "Little People, Big World," opens up their farm to the public in October so everyone can enjoy some fall festivities. I had no idea they were in Oregon! My friend Jessie told me about them and asked if the Hauck family wanted to accompany her and her daughter, Madie to the Roloff Farm tomorrow. Sammy is taking the day off so we can go because the rest of our weekend is booked. Apparently they have a sweet pumpkin patch, corn maze, petting zoo, food, etc. etc. I'm excited to take photos of the kids picking out pumpkins.

This week has been a good one for me. I got a few projects done for Molly's room I've been wanting to do. I'm looking to do up a post soon showing off the bedding I got for her for Christmas for when we turn her crib into a toddler bed. The little projects I've done go along with the theme of her bedding. I put up some decorations outside. Hay bales, corn stalks, pumpkins, newspaper stuffed little ghosts that hang from the tree.....wonder what we will get at the pumpkin patch tomorrow?

I've slowly continued pulling things together for my Halloween party on the 24th. Had a few people RSVP so far already and that gives me hope the party will be a hit. :) Got some cupcake decorating goods together. Working on my candy corn garland....more on that later. I'm thinking of being Sammy for the Halloween party. I just need to find a pair of black framed glasses, lol. I'm pretty stoked about it. We'll see!

And now, I'll leave you with a few photos.

With love,
Mama hauck

  2. OMG!! Your day sounds amazing! We actually watch the Rollofs so that's amazing to me! Have since they started a few years back! How cool is that?? If you take pictures you HAVE to send them to me, Jason is is HUGE fan! I can't wait to hear all about it!!

We do a pumpkin patch every year too, the same one for years now. Then we go to the corn maze, and then the apple orchard. It's an all day Saturday event. Jason tried to get Friday off, but others had the day off so we'll have to go when the crowd goes. My mom usually comes with us too so it's fun to see her with her "Grandbabies" as she says.

So......Sammy's job???? What's up girl!!! Details!!! I need them!

So so so cute that little Anthony loved your jeans...can he give older boys lessons how how to talk sweet to a girl??? LOL!

What type of recipes do you want added to your book? Send me a list? Irish? Italian? German? Greek? WHITE TRASH?- my favorire. I actually have a cook book called White Trash Church Favorites....it's awesome!
    Love you B!

Lori, I was only able to take one far away photo of the dad. :( By the time I realized he was sitting out yonder in his golf cart I had walked a good distance and they started driving again so I had to take it real quick! Argh! And as we were leaving, the mom came out to take photos with people, but we were weighing our pumpkins and I couldn't get a photo! lol Ahhh well, it was cool to see them anyway! :) I'm working on the post about it the day now!

    I wrote you an e-mail.
