My Little Pearls

My little Pearls
You might not know that
You're the most precious thing I have
My little Pearls
I'll string you on a necklace
Place you around my neck
My little Pearls
Forever in love am I
From the second I layed eyes on you
My little Pearls
Oh how you shine
I couldn't be more proud
My little Pearls
Never to be parted
As long as I wear you upon my heart
My little Pearls
I'll cherish you forever
You know not the love I have for you
My little Pearls

With love,
Mama Hauck

  2. I had a sneak peak, so my tears came last night. It's beautiful! I love it, It flows really well and if I could remember 8th grade english, I could tell you what kind of poem it was...there are so many types I can't recall. I love poetry though! Now it's going to drive me crazy...maybe Shadow poetry, because the title repeats several times in the sonnet itself? Oh well, it's beautiful and sweet and you need to keep all of these wonderful things you do and say for your Pearls so one day they can look back and say man, we've got an awesome mama!!

  3. Thank you so much, Joy!

LOL, I remember studying poetry in 8th grade English too! Heck if I remember what the different types of poems are!

I have been printing out all the poems I've written and putting them in their baby books. :) I'm so glad you love it! It was fun to write.
