  6. This looks so yummy. I love the raisin! I have a recipe I'll send you for my mom's salad, it's simular to this one but it doesn't have the raisins and it does have cheese it it too.
I guess you could really mix up the recipe and the carrots sound good too!

  8. Ok, that sounds great! Thanks! Yeah, seems like this is a perfect one for mixing things up! I was even thinking for those people who like nuts to put in your favorite kind or sunflower seeds my mama said too.

  9. Here's my moms and funny thing is it DOES have sunflower seeds!!

    Broccoli Salad
    2 bunches broccoli
    1 small head cauliflower
1 small white onion (diced tiny)
Sunflower seeds - to your taste I do a lot
1 16 oz bag fine shredded cheddar cheese
1 lb bacon, cooked and crumbled

    Dressing
    2 cups mayo
    1/2 cup sugar
    2 TBL white vinegar

I mix the dressing first, then add everything else to the bowl and give it a good stir. Just make sure to cut up broccoli and cauliflower really small. Enjoy!

  11. I can't have dairy as you know, and make this one a lot for potlucks. It's a favorite! But... I made your salad last night for the guys and they LOVED it!! Non left. Jason is a HUGE raisin fan so he judy loved it. Joshua who hates mayo even liked it! I made it with these potato puff things I make. I do potatos with seasoning for me, and potatos with chicken for the guys. I cook everything first and then fill puff pastys and bake them. They are so versital and super yummy, easy, and CHEAP!! It's like a mini homemade potpie!
